This June, Music Network is closing out the season with an artist you don’t want to sleep on. Emma Rawicz; saxophonist, composer, and trailblazer is taking the jazz world by storm. At just 22, she’s flipping the genre on its head and redefining what it means to be a jazz headliner in 2025. Now, she’s bringing her powerhouse quartet to stages across Ireland for an unmissable national tour from 4-13 June.

So, who is Emma Rawicz?

If you don’t know her yet, you will soon. Emma burst onto the UK jazz scene in her teens, independently releasing her debut album ‘Incantation,’ and selling out headline shows at legendary spots like Ronnie Scott’s and the Jazz Cafe. Her latest record ‘Chroma’ explores the idea of colour in music, showcasing vibrant sonic textures and her immense skill as a composer, arranger, and saxophonist.

Filled with 70s jazz-rock riffs, solos on bass clarinet, piano, and guitar, and a fearless approach to form, ‘Chroma’ proves Emma as young band leader with both promise and depth. With lush harmonies and grooves that keep you guessing, Emma’s music speaks to more than just the classic jazz crowd, this is jazz for now.

Catch Her Live with an All-Star Band

Joining Emma on tour are three of the UK jazz scene’s finest: Elliot Galvin on keys, Kevin Glasgow on bass, and Asaf Sirkis on drums. Expect an hour-plus of genre-blurring jazz that’s intense, innovative, and alive in venues around Ireland.
