JID & EarthGang Announce Dublin Show

Words: Dylan Murphy

The Dreamville crew are heading to Ireland this summer.

Back in 2022, JIID announced a European tour that featured the Irish flag but no Irish date. However, now the Atlanta rapper has announced a date in Dublin to make up for the earlier disappointment. He heads to the 3Olympia Theatre in the capital on Sunday 16 July, with support from label mates EarthGang.

The news comes after JID dropped his long-awaited third studio album The Forever Story at the tail end of 2022. His most intimate and personal record to date, the album featured artists like Lil Wayne, Yasiin Bey, James Blake, Lil Durk, and more was followed by a performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk series.

JID is currently touring America with Smino and recently brought out Joey Bada$$ on stage for a performance in New York. Hopefully, he brings that same energy to Ireland.

Tickets start at 36.50 euro including booking fees and go on sale Friday 24 March at 10.00.
