The controversial star of Tiger King is reportedly banking on a presidential pardon from Donald Trump and is planning to leave the penitentiary in style.
Joe Exotic was the subject of an overwhelming amount of memes during the first lockdown of 2020. The star of Netflix’s Tiger King was sentenced to 22 years in prison for animal abuse and a murder-for-hire plot against Carole Baskin.
However, according to The Metro, ahead of Joe Biden’s inauguration, Joe is expecting a presidential pardon from Donald Trump before he leaves office.
Speaking to the newspaper, private investigator Eric Love who is working on Joe’s case said, “This time tomorrow, we’re going to be celebrating… We have good reason to believe it will come through”.
He continued to say, “We’re confident enough we already have a limousine parked about half a mile from the prison. We are really in action mode right now”.
“I’ve got make-up, wardrobe, the whole unit that will come up. The first thing Joe wants to do, he wants his hair done.”
“He hasn’t had his hair done in two-and-a-half years. That’s the first order of business. Then we’ll probably go and get some pizzas, steak, maybe a McRib”.
It remains to be seen if Donald Trump will grant the former exotic park owner a presidential pardon.
The news comes after it was revealed Nicolas Cage would play Joe Exotic in a forthcoming scripted television show about the former exotic animal park owner.
