John Francis announces Vicar Street show

Words: Dylan Murphy

The news comes after he won Best Emerging Folk Artist and Best Folk Singer at last night’s RTÉ Radio One Folk Awards.

Earlier this year, John Francis Flynn shared his debut album I Would Not Live Always to critical acclaim and shortly after he played a sold out show in Whelan’s. He’s keeping up the momentum with the announcement of a headline show at Vicar Street on May 1, with Aoife Nessa Frances joining John on the night.

It comes after John Francis Flynn won Best Emerging Folk Artist and Best Folk Singer at last night’s RTÉ Radio One Folk Awards.
