KAYTRANADA and Anderson .Paak team up for ‘Twin Flame’

Landing alongside a video directed by Anderson .Paak, it’s the first collaboration from the pair since 2016’s ‘GLOWED UP’.
There’s few pairings who can guarantee a vibe quite like KAYTRANADA and Anderson .Paak. Today, the pair released a video directed by .Paak for ‘Twin Flame’. KAYTRANADA revealed on TikTok the song was created way back in 2018. He’s been teasing it in sets in recent months and having proven a killer duo on his 2016 album 99.9%, there were few doubts that they’d deliver with this collaboration.
Shot in black and white and depicting a warehouse party with a raised stage, the video comes after a busy 12 months for both acts. KAYTRANADA shared a collaborative EP with Maryland rapper IDK called Simple., worked on remixes of music from fellow Canadian The Weeknd who he also is touring with, whilst also finding time to release his Intimidated EP last year that featured H.E.R, Thundercat and Mach-Hommy. Anderson .Paak has been touring with The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Thundercat and most recently worked with Maxo Kream and DOMi & JD BECK on recent releases.
