Ahead of a performance at Longitude this weekend, Khakikid has unveiled details from his debut project alongside a new collaboration with Frank Zing.
2022 has been busy for Khakikid. The Crumlin rapper dropped ‘Cozy‘ and ‘Woodstock‘ ahead of his slew of festival performances this summer and now he’s returned with another single in the shape of ‘Sports & Tattoos’.
Featuring production from 49th & Main and created in collaboration with Frank Zing, the new track lands alongside the news of his debut EP Elevator Music which is set to drop on September 1.
Speaking on the new track, Khakikid says, “You know those mates of yours that should be a couple but just won’t accept it? They’ve been friends so long that they think it’d be weird to see each other but it’s obvious they’re both into one another.That’s what sports & tattoos is about. They can’t help but flirt with each other but always play it off as a joke. They’re afraid of making a move in case it’ll ruin everything.”
