Kobina shares new EP ‘Four Poems’ in full

“All tracks are based on poems I wrote during a period of time where I’d fallen away from making music.”

Kobina has been exploring textured electronica for half a decade. He’s been drip feeding material over the years and his latest series of music comes in the form of an EP entitled ‘Four Poems’ which he began teasing last month. Earlier this month he dropped a new video for a track called ‘Shogani’ featuring vocals by Obskur Mond, taken from the project. Now ‘Four Poems’ is here in full.

“All tracks are based on poems I wrote during a period of time where I’d fallen away from making music. During this process, I realised they could serve as the common thread between something but wasn’t sure what. The first night I opened my laptop to start writing, I made the swelling bass at the start of ‘Knots’ and I knew I had opened up to something. It really felt like something had been building up inside of me for sometime. Each of the poems linked directly to something I was processing at the time and each of the vocalists responses provided a sort of release and really helped make it what it has become.”
