Laurent Garnier announced for first Dublin show in three years

Oh oui!

Metropolis have further solidified themselves as having one of the strongest electronic music line ups of the year with their latest announcement.

They’ve just revealed that Laurent Garnier will perform a two-hour set at the Dublin festival, his first in the capital since 2014.

It will take place as part of the Opening Concert on Saturday, October 28 in the RDS Dublin.

Laurent is a dance music veteran, touring for the past 30 years, spanning house, techno and electronica during his illustrious career as a producer and DJ.

The autumn festival announced the first round of artists for 2017, a few weeks ago. They’re bringing TLC, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Leftfield performing Leftism, Jungle, Death in Vegas, Mount Kimbie, Bonzai, DJ Deece and Booka Brass Band to Ballsbridge.

They then added some more electronic music goodness with Jeremy Underground, Berlin trio Fjaak, Coldtonic boss Krystal Klear, and one of the most exciting names in house Peggy Gou.

Here’s how the day breakdown looks so far.

As well as Laurent, the Opening Concert on Saturday October 28 will feature Leftfield performing Leftism, Death in Vegas and Fjaak (live).

Sunday will feature the iconic TLC, Richie Hawtin, Jungle, Adam Beyer, Mount Kimbie, Jeremy Underground, Bonzai, Krystal Klear, Peggy Gou, Booka Brass, DJ Deece and many more.
