Listen to LCD Soundsystem’s first album in 7 years

It’s time to live the ‘American Dream’.

At the beginning of May LCD Soundsystem released two new tracks titled ‘Call the Police’ and ‘American Dream’. They also released more information about their forthcoming album saying they were “seriously almost done”.

James Murphy then shared a further response saying the record is done and dusted, also explaining the reasons for getting back together.

They’ve since released a video for ‘tonite’, plus James Murphy and Co. revealed that they’ll make their first trip back to Dublin since the reformation of LCD Soundsystem in 2015.  Three sold out shows will take place on September 27/28/29 at the Olympia Theatre.

Now the long wait is over, and their album ‘American Dream’ is here. Listen below in all its glory.
