lullahush shares debut video with ‘Terracotta Slow Dance’

“This is a piece that’s very close to my heart.”

Perhaps best known for collaborating closely with Aoife McCann on her Æ MAK project, Daniel McIntyre told us in a recent interview that he was being patient about releasing his solo music. Under the name lullahush the Dublin artist travelled to Berlin as a participant at the Red Bull Music Academy, and now he’s ready to show the world what he’s about.

While he has released some glimpses of his own music, and other directions like his pillowman pseudonym, this is his first official single.

‘Terracotta Slow Dance’ is taken from the forthcoming project ‘A City Made Of Water And Small Love’ and the video was created by himself, Katie Freeney [who co-stars] and Tim Shearwood.

“This is a piece that’s very close to my heart,” he says. “I made the song late one night and we shot the video early one morning. I’m so proud to be sharing it.”

For Episode 1 of New Voices we interview Lullahush, who gave us a glimpse inside Funkhaus and the 20th edition of the Red Bull Music Academy.
