Mac DeMarco & Flaming Lips announce new split EP

A cover record like no other…

 

Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne looks to have confirmed a new EP with Mac DeMarco.

He took to Instagram to share of video of him working on a new version of  ‘Chamber Of Reflection’ by Mac.

The project will feature The Flaming Lips covering three Mac songs plus “the Mac DeMarco afternoon delight ensemble”, and vice versa as Mac will produce his take on three Flaming Lips tracks.

Coyne mentions that the EP will arrive on cassette and vinyl.

Mac is currently touring his new album ‘This Old Dog’ which came out in May. He’s stopping off in Vicar Street , Dublin on November 22 for his biggest headline show in Ireland yet, which is already sold out.
