Margadh Food and Wine Store are opening a wine bar in the city centre

Words: Emily Mullen

It’s high time Margadh opened up a city-centre location

Born out of the closure of Mamó Restaurant during Covid, owners Jess D’Arcy and Killian Durkin opened Margadh in October 2020.

Working alongside their high-end chefs, a menu of high-end deli and at-home products were created. Margadh also stocks a large variety of high-quality Irish and European products in store.

The team have announced that a second Margadh will be opened on September 21, in the Royal Hibernian Academy on Ely Place.

This new city centre location will include a wine bar, alongside fine artisan food and wine, morning fare, lunch, hampers and “everything in between”.

Margadh will be open Monday-Tuesday 11.00- 17.00, Wednesday 11.00-20.00, Thursday -Saturday 11.00-20.30 and Sunday 12.00-17.00.

The location will operate as a wine bar from Thursday-Saturday until 22.30.

For more information visit Margadh’s Instagram account or website.
