Mart Gallery is hosting This Land, an exhibition and film screening in support of Masi.

Words: Katie Gartland

Curated by Eric Davidson and Bobby Zithelo, the exhibition features 12 artists and will raise funds for MASI

Bobby Zithelo and Eric Davidson launched ‘THIS LAND’ today, an exhibition of film and photography in the MART Gallery, Rathmines.

The exhibition will include a screening of ‘THIS LAND’ as well as photography questioning what it means to be from Ireland. Multiple photographers capture cultural identity through everyday joy and struggle.

Photographs taken by Bobby Zithelo, Mthombeni, Ellius Grace, Tobi Bello, Sinéad Rose, Natanya (RENTALBLUE), Omar O’Reilly & Dylan Moran, Niamh Barry, Maverick, Paula Trojner and Fiona-Louise Ntidendereza will be displayed at the exhibition.

Framed works and prints will be for sale at the exhibition. Proceeds will go to MASI, helping asylum seekers and people in Direct Provision in Ireland.

‘THIS LAND’ will run Wednesday to Saturday, December 3 to 19. Check out MART‘s website for more information.
