May The Fourth Be With You: RTE Orchestra Are Performing Star Wars Next Weekend
Attention Star Wards and music nerds: The RTÉ Concert Orchestra will perform music from all three Star Wars trilogies on an Irish tour this weekend. But it’s not actually on May the fourth. It’s on May 7, 8 and 9.
These gigs will be conducted by Stephen Bell, who himself played Horn on two of the Star Wars films with John Williams. The orchestra will perform gorgeous renditions of ‘Duel of the Fates’, ‘Yoda’s Theme’, ‘Princess Leia’s Theme’ and much more.
