The Flatbush Zombies’ rapper also shares the album artwork and track list from his forthcoming solo album Gothic Luxury.
Meechy Darko’s first solo album has been ten years in the making. Ever since fans heard his unmistakeable gravel-gargling vocals on Flatbush Zombies’ breakout single ‘Thug Waffle’, the New York rapper has been fielding calls from listeners for a solo body of work. Earlier this summer, he revealed Gothic Luxury would be dropping on August 26 and followed up the news with the singles ‘Kill us All’ and ‘Get Lit or Die Tryin’. Now, he’s shared ‘On God’ which features production from Fools Gold president A-Trak and bars from none other than Gary, Indiana’s Freddie Gibbs.
Featuring production by Jay Versace & Dot Da Genius, the single sees the trio continue the feeling of affluent dread showcased throughout the singles so far.
The single lands alongside the full track list and cover art for the forthcoming record which features contributions from Busta Rhymes, Denzel Curry, Black Thought and more.
