Mk.gee shares double sided release ‘Are You Looking Up / You got it’

Words: Dylan Murphy

Tap into two new songs from the New Jersey–born, LA-based artist.

Last week, Mk.gee played a couple of sold out shows with none other than Dijon in the states. You only have to look at comment sections on reddit or videos on TikTok to see how well that went down. If you’re familiar with Mk.gee, the high profile live collaboration will come as no surprise given he’s got credits with Omar Opollo, Vegyn, Kid Laroi and more. A phenomenal artist in his own right, he’s come back centre stage with a new A/B single release ‘Are You Looking Up/ You got it’.

Are You Looking up’ shares DNA with much of his trademark indie approach, meanwhile ‘You got it’ is a pensive and nocturnal cut that lands like a cinematic soundtrack to the end of summer.

The tracks follow the release of ‘Candy / How many miles’ in August.

Here’s hoping for a full project soon.
