Mobb Deep’s Havoc & Big Noyd to do a Q&A in Dublin discussing the late Prodigy

Back in June one half of legendary hip hop duo Mobb Deep, Prodigy, passed away at just 42 years of age.

The trailblazing New York rapper and his Mobb Deep partner Havoc were the definition of the New York sound of the 1990s, with their album ‘The Infamous’ still a go-to record for hip hop heads.

Before his untimely death, Prodigy shared tracks like ‘Beast With It’ for the revival of the Marvel Black Panther series, as well as an EP in April of last year.

His last performance was in Las Vegas on the Saturday before his death on the ‘Art of Rap tour alongside a collection of other legends in the game like Ghostface Killah, Onyx, KRS-One and more.

ChoiceCuts have now revealed that they will welcome Mobb Deep’s Havoc and close affiliate Big Noyd to Dublin for a live Q&A. It will take place in The Sugar Club on Friday October 20, doors at 7.30pm.

It will be “about their fallen partner Prodigy and all things Mobb Deep since day one followed by their live show tribute”.

Tickets on sale Friday Sept 15 at 9am.
