Moderat and Sorcha Richardson announced in first Body & Soul line up

Sorcha Richardson, Moderat and more acts will perform at Body & Soul from June 16 to June 18.

Body & Soul have announced the first acts of their 2023 line up. German electronic music supergroup Moderat will perform at Body & Soul, taking place from June 16 to June 18. Formed in 2002, the band was voted the best live act of 2009 by Resident Advisor. Following a four year hiatus from 2017 to 2021, Moderat released their fourth album More D4ta in May 2022.

Dublin-based singer-songwriter Sorcha Richardson was also the announced in the line up for the Ballinlough Castle. Sorcha released her second album Smiling Like An Idiot in September 2022 and will be performing at Other Voices in Dingle this December.

Folk-pop singer Aoife Nessa Frances was also announced in the line up. Aoife Nessa released her second studio album Protector in October 2022.

Other acts announced in the first line up are DJ Shanti Celeste, French broadcaster and DJ Gilles Peterson, and afropop group Bantu Continua Uhuru Consciousness (BCUC). More acts will be announced soon.
