Nealo enlists comedian Darren Conway in new video for ‘Heart Food for Hard Times’

The link up we never knew we needed.

In Nealo’s new video for ‘Heart Food for Hard Times’ we see two world’s colliding. Notorious twitter personality and comedian Darren Conway consoles the Clonsilla rapper as he tearfully wishes he could see Norman the dog again.

Having burst onto the scene in late 2018 with his debut EP ‘October Year’, Nealo has consistently put out content that is as vulnerable as it is confident. Drawing from the city that raised him, the formee trainee solicitor and frontman for hardcore band Frustration swapped mosh pits and court rooms for jazzy raps and dog walking and hasn’t looked back since.

an so distraught by not being able to see his favourite doggie client, Norman, during the Covid-19 quarantine that he turns to drink. Alcohol dependency is an issue that Nealo has tackled in the past, with his 2019 song ‘Just My Luck’.

Banging out the track over the course of just a month, it illustrates the fact that Nealo is undoubtedly becoming one of the most prolific writers in the Irish scene.
