New additions set for Open Ear Festival on Ireland’s south coast

Open Ear Festival is a small festival of electronic music that descends upon Sherkin Island in Cork. Taking place on the June bank holiday weekend, from the 2nd to the 4th of June, the festival prioritises experimentation and live electronic acts in a unique island atmosphere.

They’ve just added some new acts to the lineup, including Dublin 3-piece Everything Shook, Rusangano Family beatmaker mynameisjOhn, and children’s music workshoppers Dabbeldoomusic.

The focus isn’t just on music, with arts and crafts stalls on the island, as well as yoga, and tours of the local environs. Anyone with an open mind looking to get out of the city for the bank holiday, Open Ear seems an ideal option.

Peep the full weekend’s lineup below, and you can pick up tickets for the festival here.
