New albums: Clairo, ENNY, Ra Gerra & more

With the endless onslaught of new music every Friday it’s hard to keep up with all the new releases. We’ve curated the essential new albums and projects out today for you to check out.

Clairo – Sling

The second full-length album from Clairo is executive produced by Jack Antonoff and sees her swap the bedroom pop sound she introduced herself on for songwriting inspired by Joni Mitchell, Carole King and the Carpenters.

Ra Gerra – New Vessels

In an unexpected, but welcome development Amsterdam based Irish producer Kobina joined forces with MuRli of Rusangano Family earlier this year to form electronic rap outfit Ra Gerra. The pair weave between meditative Bonobo-inspired cuts and claustrophobic bangers on an eclectic record.

ENNY – Under Twenty Five

ENNY first flew onto ou radars with the release of her single ‘Peng Black Girls‘ which subsequently featured Jorja Smith on the remix. She’s gone from strength to strength since and established herself as one of the most exciting voices in UK music. Under Twenty Five is the first EP from the London rapper and sees her link up with Kinkai and share her thoughts across 20 minutes of music.

Yves Tumor – The Asymptotical World EP

Yves Tumor blessed our ears with the surprise release of their new EP titled The Asymptotical World EP. Consisting of six tracks, including the previously released single ‘Jackie’ it’s the first body of work since their 2020 album Heaven To A Tortured Mind.

Pop Smoke – Faith

The second posthumous album from the New York drill artist.

The Alchemist – Rapper’s Best Friend 6: An Instrumental Series

The legendary producer has shared a body of instrumental works ripe for those who dare to go over them.
