Parisian genre-agnostic singer and songwriter Crystal Murray makes good on the promise showcased in her debut EP I WAS WRONG in her new 10 track offering Twisted Bases.
NewDad – Banshee EP
Galway’s NewDad are back with their second EP in as many years.
Speaking on Banshee EP, they say, “This EP is definitely bigger, having more time in the studio definitely meant we got to experiment more and layer more into each track so there’s an overall bigger sound! The main themes of this EP are restlessness and anxiety, during lockdown that’s how myself and most people were feeling so that’s what inspired a lot of the writing.”
Raveena – Asha’s Awakening
Raveena’s Asha’s Awakening lands today via Warner Records. The 15-track concept album tells the otherworldly story of a space princess from ancient Punjab with contributors including Grammy-nominated producer, Rostam, as well as Vince Staples and the legendary Indian singer-songwriter herself, Asha Puthli.
Moonchild – Starfruit
LA-trio Moonchild come through with their fifth album Starfruit, which features ‘Lalah Hathaway, Alex Isley, Tank and The Bangas, Rapsody, Ill Camille, Mumu Fresh, Chantae Cann and Josh Johnson. “This is our 5th album, which felt like a big milestone to us. They all added their magic touch to the songs and really brought the music to a new and special place,” says Amber.
