New Albums: TraviS, Elzzz, AntsLive and more

Words: Dylan Murphy

With the endless onslaught of new music every Friday it’s hard to keep up with all the new releases. We’ve curated the essential new albums and projects out today for you to check out.

TraviS & Elzzz – Full Circle

TraviS and Elzzz are kicking off the new year with 19 minutes of cut throat drill and trap. The duo have made a name for themselves as some of the busiest rappers in Ireland, hosting treasure hunts for their Gliders apparel and even released a Pokémon GO style augmented reality app to complement the release. After months of teasing Full Circle is here. Take it in.

AntsLive – Just A Matter Of Time

First off, this tape’s cover art is stunning. Rest assured, the music on AntsLive’s debut tape is on the same level. The UK rapper bounces between trap, hip hop and drill across a project that showcases his personality in between clever one liners. This is your “here before they blew up card”.

Sematary – Butcher House

American artist Sematary comes through with his fifth solo mixtape. He’s part of the Haunted Mound collective which also is made up Irish artists like Buckshot and the latest tape features production from Dublin producer Asa Nisi Masa. Some witchhouse trap and drill for your headtop on a cold January morning.

Clavish – Rap Game Awful

North London rapper Clavish drops his debut mixtape No Difference. It comes off the back of the top ten single ‘Rocket Science’ which featured D-Block Europe. The tape stretches to 28 tracks and features the likes of Fredo, Rimzee, Youngs Teflon and more.
