Nonzus Magnus reignites a proven partnership in ‘Truth Be Told’

Words: Dylan Murphy

In his first release of the new year, Dublin polymath Nonzus Magnus links with Ama Millieir for a Matrix-inspired cut.

The most potent partnerships in music feel effortless. They breed songs that tie together separate act’s distinctive strengths so fluidly that you’d think the music was the brainchild of a singular person.

Dublin multi-hypenate Nonzus Magnus and Longford’s Ama Millieier already proved themselves to be a duo with natural chemistry with the release of their 2019 scorcher ‘Outta Love’. Nearly two whole years later they’ve joined forces again for ‘Truth Be Told’.

Speaking about the inception of the track, Nonzus Magnus said, “I had a vivid dream about my first love. Someone who I hadn’t spoken to in years. It felt like a spiritual conversation. It felt extremely real. A couple days later I realised it was actually a vision. She reached out to me and we spoke again for the first time in a while”.

It comes after Nonzus Magnus shared ‘Baptist Freestyle’ at the tail end of 2021..
