NUXSENSE trade Dublin for London in ‘VISION’

Words: Dylan Murphy

The crew from the capital headed to the UK for their latest visuals.

NUXSENSE are Dublin’s omnipresent rap crew. With a string of individual and group projects under their belt, the group are kicking off 2023 the way the mean to continue in visuals for ‘VISION’.

Featuring production from resident beat maker sivv, the single sees Jehnova and luthorist trade reminiscent bars over a nocturnal instrumental in trademark fashion. The hip hop outfit have been active for over five years and in ‘VISION’, luthorist and Jehnova continue to hone their sound and cement their position as some of the capital’s most consistent rappers.

Speaking on how the creative process behind the cut, luthorist says, “The song came about as organically as it could. Myself, Jehnova & sivv were in the studio at the time and sivv had just finished cooking the beat right there and then, me and Jehnova began to write to it and came up with the concept for Visions. This was around 4am so all the memories seem like a movie at this point.”

The accompanying video comes courtesy of Honey JD and was shot during a trip to London.

Speaking on what they have planned for the coming year, luthorist says, “A lot more activity for sure – Few projects/singles will be dropping in the next couple of months, along with gigs & more visuals”.
