Stay inside and bump some trap-infused bangers from The Goon.

Waterford’s Pat Lagoon has been dropping singles for the guts of two years now. Though he released a collaborative EP with Rikshaw previously, there’s been a palpable hunger for a solo EP from The Goon. 

The moment has arrived and it comes in the shape of a six track project named ‘Box Room EP’.

It sees four new tracks alongside the previously released ‘Take Time’. and ‘Smooth With It’ that features production from LHK. Irish producer and sound engineer Wongy has production credits and upcoming Cork artist Morethan also features.

Speaking on the new EP Pat said, “The concept of Box Room is about how I have always seemed to express myself inside the four walls of my bedroom, whether it was emotionally, physically or just lamenting over things that could or could not happen.”

“It’s funny because I live away from home for the majority of the year so my room isn’t really my room but it’s somewhere I can think without the thought of judgement or ridicule. I wasn’t pushed to make a project because I didn’t feel I had enough of a following interested in hearing me out but throughout 2019 the confidence and assistance of Anomaly and my close friends I decided to give you all an insight into my life and thoughts that take place in the Box Room.”
