Reeling in the Years is making a comeback

Words: Dylan Murphy

The show will return this Spring and re-examine the past decade.

We’re kicking off 2021 with some good news. Reeling in the Years will make a come back in the Spring.

The show pulls out the highlights of every year since RTÉ’s inception in 1962, accompanied by a soundtrack of the year’s top singles.

According to Today Fm, the show will return this year and will cover the best and worst of the past decade. Speaking today, Eimear Shannon said:

“Reeling in the Years is coming back this Spring”.

“It’ll run from 2010 to 2019”.

It’s going to cover the bailout, the year all the celebrities died, Brexit, Trump. All of these things that happened and then the repeal referendum and the repeal referendum.”
