Kevin Clark, who played drummer Freddy Jones in ‘School of Rock‘ was killed in a bike accident aged just 32.
According to TMZ, Kevin Clark who played Freddy Jones in ‘School Of Rock’ died in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Chicago after he was struck by a vehicle.
Clark was riding his bicycle in Chicago’s Northwest side and was pronounced dead shortly after 02.00 local time.
Kevin Clark started playing drums at the age of five and when he was 12 he landed the role of Freddy Jones in ‘School Of Rock’. The film saw Jack Black star as a washed up rocker-turned teacher who brings his class together to form a band.
Jack Black paid tribute to Clark on Instagram saying, “Devastating news. Kevin is gone. Way too soon. Beautiful soul. So many great memories. Heartbroken. Sending love to his family and the whole School of Rock community.”
Though it was his only acting role, Clark continued playing music into adulthood and taught music to children.
