Sim Simma Soundsystem share debut video ‘Yamma Yamma’ featuring Breezy iDeyGoke

‘Yamma Yamma’ is the debut single from Sim Simma Soundsystem, “a fusion of dancehall, hip hop and grime produced in Dublin in collaboration with a diverse roster of artists”.

They’re teeing up the release of ‘Pass the Aux Cord’, a five track EP produced by Ben Bix and Semi-D, which features artists God Knows of Rusangano Family, Denise Chaila, Breezy iDeyGoke and vocalist Chilli Cherry.

When we saw the sentence ‘Sim Simma are starting a new label that will cover dancehall, grime and hip hop’ online earlier today we knew they’d deliver the goods, and the result is a solid and catchy outing by Dublin MC Breezy iDeyGoke. They have been teasing out this material live since the later stages of last year, so fans of the collective will be happy to see it has finally arrived.

Check out the new video directed by Rosie Barrett, with DOP Albert Hooi below.
