Stranger Things Party Announces Second Venue Due to Demand

Words: Eva O’Beirne

It has been revealed that The Stranger Things Upside Down Party will take over Wigwam on Middle Abbey Street this Halloween.

Irish fans of Stranger Things are in for a treat as the Stranger Things Upside Down Party is coming to Wigwam. The party was first announced for Lost Lane, but the second venue was announced due to demand.

According to the press release, fancy dress is very much encouraged – either taking inspiration from the 1980s or dressing up as your favourite character from the show. It is Halloween, after all.

After the fourth season blew viewers away with breathtaking moments like Max’s duel with Vecna scored with the incredible ‘Running Up That Hill’, it reignited the Stranger Things mania that has gripped the world since it emerged in 2016 on Netflix.

The Upside Down Party is giving fans a chance to immerse themselves in the world of Hawkins and their favourite characters for one night only, in either Wigwam or Lost Lane.

Get lost to the sound of a meticulously curated playlist of 1980s-inspired belters while inside an immersive recreation of the town of Hawkins and the Upside Down. The organisers have teamed up with promising Irish creative talent to reimagine Wigwam as the beloved world that first emerged on screen nearly six years ago.

Don’t miss what will be the tour de force of the spooky season this Halloween.

Doors open at 22.30. Tickets start at 9.39 euro, click here for more.
