Thumbstopper: Dublin producer Sal Dulu recruits Fly Anakin for ‘Zumo’

Words: Dylan Murphy

Stop scrolling – Thumbstopper is the must listen to song of the day. Today, Sal Dulu has joined forces with one of the best in US hip hop’s underground.

Today, Dublin producer Sal Dulu has shared the final single ahead of his debut album Xompulse.

‘Zumo’ sees Sal link with Fly Anakin for an ethereal cut that sees the east coast spitter bring his trademark flow as he dances around shadowy percussion.

It’s another compelling effort from an eclectic producer that feels as comfortable crafting jazz as he does shapeshifting electronic music.

Speaking on his forthcoming album Sal said, “The album comprises fragments of aural and visual memories and assimilates these in a series of memory-based songs or dreams.  The album can essentially be described as moving through a dreamscape.”

It comes after Fly Anakin released his brilliant dual project with Pink Siifu FlySiifu’s.

Sal Dulu’s debut album Xompulse drops Friday 19 March.
