Thumbstopper: Negro Impacto are staying inside on ‘Lockdown Syndrome’

Words: Dylan Murphy

Stop scrolling – Thumbstopper is your must listen to song of the day. Today, Negro Impacto share their smooth debut single ‘Lockdown Syndrome’.

Dundalk duo Negro Impacto has made a big impression with their debut single ‘Lockdown Syndrome’.

Made up of vocalist Chi Chi and producer StrangeLove (Laurence Kapinga), Negro Impacto’s chemistry shines through on a warm and rich track that sees them surrender to the dire circumstances that enveloped the world in March of last year.

The duo came together after years of friendship when the duo decided to work remotely during the peak of lockdown in 2020.

Outside the single, they’ve remained relatively quiet on socials, so we’re keeping tabs on what is next for the duo.
