TraviS mulls over the price of success on ‘FAITH’

Words: Dylan Murphy

Fresh from his recent EP, the Gliders co-founder is keeping his foot on the gas with another contemplative new cut.

Dublin rapper TraviS has steadily dropped singles with his fellow collective member Elzzz over the past twelve months. Gliders is very much an in-house operation and just about everything has been made in collaboration with rising producer Liam Harris, with the videos being crafted by Sam Fallover. While TraviS’ latest effort ‘FAITH’ is a solo track, he’s keeping his hot streak with Liam going in on the pensive slow roller.

Musing over the inevitable compromises that arise when you follow your dreams, TraviS laments time away from his friends, the growing pressure and persevering through it all.

The track comes off the back of the release of the Gliders ‘G-Suit’ custom tracksuit which has been copped from acts ranging from Monjola to Aby Coulibaly and Denise Chaila. TraviS made a surprise appearance at Longitude Festival with Elzzz during Monjola’s set on the main stage. ‘FAITH’ comes after TraviS dropped the three track collaborative EP ‘Independent’ with fellow Glider Elzzz at the end of July.
