Watch a new trailer for Sally Rooney’s ‘Conversations With Friends’

The show launches on RTÉ One on Wednesday 18 May.

It’s been a busy few years for Sally Rooney. The author’s best selling book Normal People aired back in April of 2020 and simultaneously propelled Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar Jones to new heights, Irish artist’s music was featured across the series and the show found fans ranging from the Kardashians to Phoebe Bridgers. Now, the team behind the show have revealed the air date for an adaptation of another of Rooney’s books Conversations With Friends.

Launching on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player on Wednesday 18 May, the new trailer features music from Maria Kelly’s album the sum of the in-between.

The first trailer that aired three weeks ago featured new original music from Phoebe Bridgers.
