This is mesmeric.
While on the other side of the Atlantic preparing to play stateside shows, Lankum got a call to say they had won the RTÉ Choice Prize for album of the year.
Having to deal with broken down vans, visa problems and a host of other issues they were able to make it over to NPR’s studios to celebrate by recording a Tiny Desk Concert before lockdown came into existence.
It’s cathartic viewing and it’ll make your Monday just a little bit easier.
