Watch Rick Rubin interview Brockhampton’s Kevin Abstract for GQ

A genuinely candid conversation on everything from mental health to how things have changed from the days in South Central.

From the comfort of a couple of deck chairs, Brockhampton front man Kevin Abstract opened up to legendary producer Rick Rubin for GQ.

Kevin is a co-founder of ‘All American Boyband’ Brockhampton and has been in the public eye since releasing the Saturation series in 2017. Not shying away from any questions, he opened up about the controversial departure of rapper Ameer Vann in the chat with Rubin.

Later expressing his feelings about his relationship with his family he spoke of his pain and regret when they attended shows, “It made me sad when my parents want to come to the shows, cause I diss them in my songs and they know every word.”

Kevin continued and explained the ‘Therapy sessions’ that he regularly holds with Shia La Beouf and up to 40 other people.
