You can now get iced coffee at your local garage

Braeburn, a premium coffee brand, has launched nationwide today at Apple Greens. It’s now available in twenty-six Applegreen outlets and will be rolled out to seventy-five by the end of the year.

Thanks to the queer community and the youths of TikTok, iced coffee has gone mainstream. You can now pick it up when you’re paying through the nose for petrol. No word yet on if this grab and go iced coffee will be inexplicably more expensive or not yet. However, it will be ‘barista style’ ice coffee that ‘doesn’t compromise on quality’ and adds an ‘elevated self-serve experience with textured cold milk’.

According to a press release from Cullen Communications, research shows over half of Ireland’s coffee drinkers enjoy their coffee on the go, with iced coffee being more prevalent among younger people. The study, conducted by Applegreen, found that over a third of people in Ireland buy at least one coffee per week whilst on the move.

“We’re excited to launch our new Braeburn coffee across the country,” said Maria Cassidy, Head of Coffee. “Today is the culmination of extensive research and testing. I am sure our thousands of coffee-loving customers are going to enjoy picking up a fresh cup of Braeburn coffee as part of their daily routine.”

Kate O’Shaughnessy, Head of Marketing at Applegreen, said, “Our customers seek quality, choice and innovation, which led to the development of this exceptional Braeburn coffee brand. We developed a premium coffee offer that would elevate that on-the-go coffee experience and would be accessible to all our customers – we’re truly proud to see our newest offering come to life”.
