Cliffords

It’s been a busy and exciting few months for fast-rising Cork indie-rock group Cliffords who dropped their second EP, ‘Salt of the Lee’ just before tearing up Glasto. This gig will be a gritty, melodic snapshot of a band on the rise. Their infectious energy is hard to deny.

ØXN with Rich(ard) Dawson

This is a one-off double bill at NCH of folk innovators and friends ØXN and Richard Dawson. What began as a side project duo between Radie Peat & Katie Kim in 2018, blossomed into a full-on sonic tapestry with the addition of Myler & Murphy during lockdown. And now they’re sharing the stage with English experimental folk writer Richard Dawson. What a combo.

Lorde

It’s so confusing sometimes, having this many deadly gigs to choose from. But Lorde is unmissable. The Grammy-winning artist and cultural force is joined by Nilüfer Yanya’s soulful grit and Jim-E Stack’s alt-pop polish on the 22nd. Expect a balance of intimate moments full blown euphoria.

My Bloody Valentine

The Irish legends of shoegaze return this month. This is their first headline show in Ireland since 1992. There will be hazy nostalgia, warped guitars, and lots of 80s and 90s alt veterans.

The collaboration king is coming to Dublin. He’s worked with everyone from Kaytranada to Waxahatchee. But it’s his own stuff that sets him apart from others. The Portland rapper returned to his solo work this year, and now he’s ready to take it on the road.
