Arctic Monkeys announce venue change for Dublin concert

Words: Ellen Kenny

Arctic Monkeys will perform in Malahide Castle on June 20, with general tickets going on sale tomorrow at 09:00.

Arctic Monkeys will no longer be performing in Marlay Park in June 2023. Instead, the rock band will play Malahide Castle on June 20. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 30 at 09:00.

Those who were eligible for the pre-sale still received their unique code to access tickets, while those who were not eligible for pre-sale could only look on, like the Squidward-looking-out-the-window meme.

Unfortunately, many eligible for the pre-sale ended up waiting ridiculously long to actually receive their tickets, and we can expect the same kind of carnage tomorrow.

Arctic Monkeys previously headlined at Electric Picnic and are still touring through festivals such as Primavera Sound and Lost Paradise.

On August 30, the band announced that their next album The Car will be released on October 21. They also released their first single from the album, ‘There’d Better Be a Mirrorball’, on August 30.
