Words: Emily Mullen

The Playground has been created by Dublin-based music production and management company Diffusion Labs

Dublin finally has some new space for musicians and creatives, when The Playground undergoes it’s phased opening.

Located in Rialto, The Playground is set to be a one-stop-shop for musicians, artists, designers, photographers, videographers, content creators and music industry professionals.

The project will house five state of the art recording studios, 45 sqm cyclorama wall for high spec recording, two live streaming rooms, podcast space, studios alongside offices and a make up room.

The Playground will operate via both membership or dry hire, open to everyone from individual artists to film producers to creative agencies.

Ivan Klucka, one of the founders and CEO of Diffusion Lab says creating the Playground is a natural next phase for his company, writing, “over the last few years, we have been steadily outgrowing our studio space and combined with a better understanding of the industry, the time has come for us to scale up operations by developing a world class creative facility. A playground for creatives”.

The Playground is undergoing a phased opening, with the first clients gaining entering the doors on October 11, ahead of the complete opening in January 2022.
