Finally, we’re getting close to new Isaiah Rashad music

Words: Dylan Murphy

Zay took to social media to share clips of a new music video featuring Duke Deuce.

Isaiah Rashad has one of the most insatiable fanbases in hip hop. Much like his contemporaries with similarly keen listeners, he is careful with how much new music he shares. However, today he shared clips from a forthcoming music video with Duke Deuce.

It’s been close to five years since TDE spitter Rashad shared his 2016 sophomore album The Sun’s Tirade. It featured fellow label mates Kendrick Lamar and SZA and former Odd Future member Syd.

Since then, he’s been very quiet, only releasing one official single – ‘Why Worry‘, just last year.

However, he took to Twitter a few weeks ago respond to a fan about his rumoured forthcoming album to say that he is “mixin it”.

Last night, Rashad and other members of the TDE team shared videos on Instagram of what appears to be a new music video with fellow Tennessee native Duke Deuce.

Rashad shared another video on his story from TDE Management that previewed the new song with Duke.

It follows a relatively quiet year for TDE. It is widely believed the record label is holding off releasing albums from SZA, Kendrick Lamar and Rashad until touring are an option again.

Watch the video clips above and keep your eyes peeled for the official release.

Elsewhere, Noname shared details of her forthcoming single ‘Rainforest’ ahead of her new album factory baby.
