Hare Squead share video for ‘100 Miles’

“This song is about doing the most for the one that you love.”

2016 was Hare Squead’s year. They released a series of tracks, like ‘Loco‘, ‘If I Ask‘ and ‘Herside Story‘ which looked set to propel them into the stratosphere. After an extended break, and some changes in personnel with Jessy Rose going solo, the Dublin hip hop and R&B group locked themselves away in the studio.

In January they released their first piece of music in 18 months, now there’s a video to accompany it, directed by Isaac Nelson aka Bobby Basil.

“This song is about doing the most for the one that you love,” they explained to HYPEBEAST over at the premiere. “Overcoming obstacles, not letting anything stand in the way. It was inspired by the feeling of Aretha Franklin’s ‘Say A Little Prayer.’ The video was meant to contrast with the music in order to heighten the emotions in the song.”
