Griselda member Benny the Butcher lands in Dublin to perform at The Button Factory in May, only a few months after his label-mate Conway The Machine hit our shores.

Benny and the entire Griselda label have gone from strength to strength over recent years, crafting a cult following and toted as the saviours of old school hip hop. It’s fair to say that the Buffalo-based rapper has been prolific in his work releasing five albums in two years.

The work never stops, as the tour entitled “Thank God I Made It”, comes after Benny featured on the track ‘Take ‘Em Out‘ on legendary rap producer Swizz Beatz newest project. Not only has he been laying down bars, Benny has also recently executive produced the project Welcome To Connecticut under his label BSF records for up and coming artist Fuego Base.

Benny has been consistently releasing high quality music including collaborations with Freddie Gibbs on ‘One Way Flight’ and his track with J.Cole ‘Johnny P’s Caddy, which peaked at No.72 on the Billboard Hot 100 tracks.

This will be the Griselda-artist’s first time performing solo in Dublin, skipping London on his world tour. The artist has been teasing an upcoming album produced by Hit-Boy for some time, there’s no knowing if we’ll get it before he touches down here. Benny said the album was “loading” in February, so it is definitely a possibility we could receive his first work of the year soon.
