Kean Kavanagh shares debut project ‘Dog Person’

The perfect way to start your weekend.

Soft Boy Records co-founder Kean Kavanagh is keeping the label’s momentum going into the end of the year. Following the release of ‘Roll Over!‘ and ‘Emma‘ he has shared his debut project ‘Dog Person’.

Littered with the same tongue-in-cheek sense of humour and musicality that would be found on a Thundercat album, Kean has reaffirmed his reputation as one of Ireland’s most exciting songwriters and producers.

‘Dog Person’ also contains previously released single ‘Coca Cola Sky’ and satisfies patient listener’s need for a bigger body of work.

Kean has been busy so he let Cream Caviar do the talking yesterday in a new interview for ID:

‘Dog Person’ also follows the release of the new video for ‘Shmelly‘ from fellow Soft Boy Kojaque and marks the start of a busy period for the Dublin-based crew.

Earlier this year, Kean appeared on the Everything is Recorded project ‘FRIDAY FOREVER’, (curated by Richard Russell of XL Recordings) alongside Aitch, Flohio, Maria Somerville, Ghostface Killah and others.
