Ross From Friends speed solves a rubik’s cube in ‘The Daisy’

Words: Dylan Murphy

The visuals land alongside the announcement of his sophomore album Tread.

It’s always a good day when Ross From Friends shares new music and today he’s gifted listeners with a new video and single ‘The Daisy’.

It comes alongside news of his forthcoming sophomore album Tread which is set to land via Brainfeeder on October 22.

Speaking on Instagram he said, ” I know a lot of you have been waiting a really long time for this tune to come out properly—thank you for your patience! “

“It’s paired with this incredible music video directed by Ruda Santos centred around a character’s journey through a speedcubing tournament. We had a mad time filming this, all the cubers were so talented and the crew and extras were super professional. I’m in the video too with a weird cameo.”

“Honestly, a massive thank you to everyone who’s stuck with me over the past couple of years while I’ve been locked away writing this. I appreciate all of you so very much. Thank you!”

Ross From Friends has also announced details of a show in the Button Factory Saturday 22 January. Tickets go on sale Thursday 26 August at 9.00 via eventbrite.
