Connemara native Maria Sommerville known for her atmospheric dream pop, is coming to Dublin this Friday. When she’s not hosting her Early Bird show on NTS Radio, selecting songs from shoegaze to traditional Irish folk, she’s touring renowned acts like Dry Cleaning, My Bloody Valentine, and Chanel Beads. Expect an ethereal, thought provoking performance of her latest album Luster on this Irish, UK and North American tour.

If you’re looking for some scustinly good craic and even better music this week, look no further. Scustin are going on an Irish tour, performing in Cork, Limerick, and Dublin’s Whelan’s. They describe their sound as a mix of Blindboy, Mike Skinner (The Streets), and Jamiroquai on a “boozy night out in Bray”. What a better way to spend V-Day?

The evolution of this man needs to be studied. Emerging as a teenage member of the Los Angeles hip-hop collective Odd Future, he first made his name with a distinct horrorcore style. Now, the rapper is known for his abstract lo-fi landscapes, intricate lyricism, and deep baritone voice carrying emotional weight. His latest work Live Laugh Love explores fatherhood, offering yet another intimate insight into his world.

Mike Skinner and the band are coming to The Streets of Dublin this Sunday. Their 2004 album A Grand Don’t Come For Free remains one of the most important and influential British albums of the 21st century with singles ‘Dry Your Eyes’, ‘Fit But You Know It’, and ‘Blinded By The Lights’. Now, you can experience the album performed live in full, exactly as it was meant to be heard.

Jitwam is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ known for his psychedelic soul sound. His music is a global melting pot of house, neo-soul, jazz fusion, and R&B, influenced by his life across India, Australia, and New York. Galway DJ, producer, and barber shop owner Shampain is playing a gig this month as part of his Millenium Madness Tour. With Lu2k, Stella & The Dreaming on support, it’s about to get sweaty.
