Aby Coulibaly and Monjola team up for ‘Where u at’

Words: Dylan Murphy

Chamomile Records season is in full swing.

Here’s one to add to your rotation this summer. Yet to miss with any of their respective singles, Aby Coulibaly and label mate Monjola have joined forces for ‘Where u at‘.

If you’ve ever had that lingering feeling of wondering what someone who used to be in your life is doing right now then this one is for you. Weaving in between each other’s soul-inflected vocals there’s a serious synergy to the way the Chamomile Records duo sing about someone that’s running laps in the minds.

Featuring production from Moyo, it continues their formula of keeping most of their music in house.

The single follows Monjola’s streak of singles that includes ‘Smile‘, ‘Know YouandFeels Right, elsewhere Aby Coulibaly has been off to a flying start with ‘Taurus’, ‘Maybe’ andLong Nights.

We selected Aby and Monjola as part of our ‘Future Of Irish Music 2021‘ feature at the beginning of the year.

Both Aby and Monjola performed Boiler Room sets in March of this year.
