Kojaque & Luka Palm bring the heat with new ‘Green Diesel’ Mixtape

What you know about green?

Soft Boy Record’s Kojaque and Luka Palm have teamed up once again on a new collaborative mixtape ‘Green Diesel’. The pair have released a string of successful collaborative singles going as far back as ‘Politicksis‘ and more recently ‘Airbnb‘ and ‘Date Night‘ that feature on the new project.

Their on stage chemistry is evident to anyone that’s been present at their shows in Ireland and beyond and it translates effortlessly into the new record.

With tracks featuring production from Co-Founder Kean Kavanagh, New Machine, Matt Finnegan and Soft Boy’s instrumental maestro Gaptoof, the boys have expanded their sound pallet to provide a more lo-fi sound at times, exemplified by ‘Paris, Texas’.

Much of the rest of the tape consists of straight heaters, confident bars and aggressive flows. Presenting a significant shift in tone from last year’s ‘Deli Daydreams‘, the duo are more braggadocios in their latest venture as displayed in the globetrotting ‘Airbnb’.

The nationwide Green Diesel tour is followed by Kojaque’s support slot on slowthai‘s European tour and Luka Palm’s presence for the two Irish dates indicating that Soft Boy Season is well and truly underway.
